Apparently, the actor has planned to express the love for his wife, Aishwarya by tattoeing her name on his wrist.Abhishek is planning to ink Aishwarya’s name permanently on his body but he is confused about the design.

Abhishek to release his hip-hop album this year

MUMBAI: Abhishek Bachchan's hip-hop album to be titled Side B (as a homage to those vinyl discs in the past which had two sides) composed by Vishal-Shekhar is finally moving into a gorgeous groove. Two years in the pipeline, the 6 tracks rendered by Abhishek for the album have been composed by Vishal-Shekhar.

With his two film-related hip-hop numbers doing well, Abhishek has now decided to complete the project in Los Angeles where Abhishek and Vishal-Shekhar will get the best sound-mixing engineers to work on his hip-hop sounds until they walk talk and sing.

Says a source, "Abhishek loves hip-hop. It's his favourite form of music. He loves to hear it and sing it. But he's not too confident about his voice. However, those who have heard him singing in the album by Vishal-Shekhar swear Abhishek has a winner on his hands."

Apparently the Big B, himself a Mr. Cool when it comes contemporary grooves, suggested that Abhishek and Vishal-Shekhar take the album to LA for the mixing and final version. The trio will head to the Mecca of modern grooves in the next couple of months.

The album Side B will be ready by the end of the year.

Says Abhishek, "I love hip-hop. But I don't know how well I sing. Vishal-Shekhar and I have been working on an album. We've some plans for making it sound better. Let's see how it goes."

Abhishek Bachchan 'at lowest ebb of career'

Abhishek Bachchan is reportedly suffering a career crisis following the box office performance of his latest films.

According to Outlook, the second-generation star has lost confidence in his abilities as an actor after a series of flop releases.

"He is at the lowest ebb of his career," said trade analyst Amod Mehra.

Bachchan, whose last two projects - Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Game - sold few tickets, put his failures down to changing audiences.

"The age of the superstar is over," said the actor. "The audience, even fans, are becoming discerning. They go to see a film, not who is acting in it."

Bachchan explained, however, that appearing in badly-received productions can have its advantages.

Speaking about new release Dum Maaro Dum, the actor stated: "If my previous films had been blockbusters, the pressure would have been even bigger."

In spite of recent failures, the star has received acclaim for his work in projects such as Dostana, Dhoom, Yuva and Bunty Aur Bably.

Abhishek Bachchan breaks Will Smith's record

Will Smith seems to be running into the Bachchans' lives in one way or another. The African-American superstar was very keen to star with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Hitch which she couldn't do.

Now it's Abhishek's turn to run into Will Smith professionally. Abhishek has beaten Will's world record for a film actor performing the maximum number of media events in one day for the promotion of a film.

The earlier record-holder was Will who had performed three media events in 24 hours for the promotion of I Robot.

Abhishek went 4 steps ahead. For the promotion of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi 6 the young actor performed seven media events in 24 hours, thereby making it into the Guinness Book Of World Records.

And now Abhishek's buddy Preity Zinta has a surprise for him. In the coming week she will be presenting Abhishek with his certificate from the Guinness organization on the show that she hosts for the brand, declaring him the official record-holder for optimum media events in record time.

I caught hold of Abhishek to get a response to this achievement. “How do I feel about it? It feels good to be representing the country on any platform. It feels even better to have entered the Guinness Book for something so…. well, different. Have I really beaten Will Smith's record? I remember it wasn't easy. I didn't know whose record I was beating. But we were determined to make it through the maximum number of events that day two years ago. And we did. ”

The Guinness book representatives had followed Abhishek through the record-breaking day in January 2009.

As for finally getting the certificate for the world record Abhishek grins, “I'm not supposed to know about. It's supposed to be a surprise on Preity's show. It will be good to get the certificate from her. Preity is a very dear friend. ”
